UKM Specialist Centre (UKMSC) is a private medical centre that provides comprehensive and specialized services in medical and surgical. With the collaborative care experts from Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM Medical Centre (HCTM PPUKM), UKMSC extends a comprehensive range of specialties to both outpatient and Hospitalinpatient towards best clinical outcomes.

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free admission, remember to bring along with you :

  1. MyKad/MyKid/Passport (Compulsory)
  2. Deposit Collection: Cash payer : 80% deposit from total estimation cost will be collected upon
  3. TPA Insurance / Corporate GL : RM500.00 deposit will be collected upon admission *Mode of payment accepted are cash, major debit/credit cards, and bank draft only (payable to UKM KESIHATAN SDN BHD). Personal cheque is NOT accepted.Medical card (to be presented to admission staff before your admission day)
A deposit will be required at the time of admission. the amount will depend on the types of case. Mode of payment accepted are cash, major credit cards, bank draft and selected e-wallet (TnG, Boost and QR) only (payable at UKM Specialist Centre SDN BHD). We regret that we DO NOT accept personal cheques.
UKMSC also recognizes and accepts Guarantee Letters from corporation and insurance companies that have established credit facilities with us. Please present your Guarantee Letter upon registration or admission. Otherwise, you would be required to pay a deposit upon admission.
Please note that all patients are required to pay a deposit of RM500 to covercosts that are not covered by their insurance policies. However, patientswith PMCare, TNB, Etiqa Maybank, and GL insurance do not need to pay adeposit as they have full coverage. If a patient is admitted before GL approval,we will collect a deposit of RM2,000. If the insuranceis declined prior toadmission, the patient will be treated as a cash patient. This deposit will befully refunded if there are no additional costs after the treatment.For more information, please contact us.
Please be in formed that the check out time is by 12 noon. It may take approximately up to two (2) hours to process the final bill. Our Ward clerk will notify you once the final bill is ready
Refunds shall be returned for cash paying patient if the deposit paid is more than the actual costs or final bill. The refund will take 14 working days. However if the deposits is insufficient to cover the incured charges, you will be advised to top-up the deposit during your hospital stay.

A safe box is available* for your convenience. However, please be reminded not to keep cash, jewellery or valuables during your stay at UKMSC as the hospital management is not responsible for any loses. Any property kept in the Hospital safe box shall be at patient’s own risk.

In the best interest of your health and comfort, please refrain from encouraging your family, relatives, friends or visitors in bringing food with strong odor.

We appreciate our patient’s visitors, their family or friends to our hospital. However, kindly comply with our Doctors’ and Nurses’ request should they require the patient to be treated in private.
